Husband was transported by ambulance. We knew he was COVID positive, but everything changed when he was admitted and the doctors refused to tell me what was going on. I found out by mistake from a nurse that thought I knew that he had a stage 2 bedsore and they had inserted a rectal tube and nobody told me anything. They went for over 13 hours when my daughter was there and had him tied down and never released him not once and they never turned him. They keep him sedated and did what they wanted to do without keeping the family informed.
Michelle Thomas was my advocate with American Frontline Nurses and when the doctor finally called after days of leaving messages, I was talking to Michelle and I conferenced her in to listen and go me understand what was going on. When Michelle started asking questions, Dr. Gillis said “we all know what the most effective treatment is and it’s called a vaccine and she hung up on us”. Michelle called Administration and I had Dr. Gillis fired and told them she better not step foot back in my husband’s room. So many other things happened that I would love to tell you.
