My husband was not given a tooth brush, a hot towel to wipe down his face, a razor to shave, he was not check for bed sore which he ended getting a week into his stay, he was left on a bed pan for over an hour before the nurse came to help him, he was not given lotion for his dead skin he developed being in there.

He was neglected from the nurses. They did not respond to his button pushes until I would call and tell them my husband needed them. He was given nothing for his hygiene care. He developed a bed sore they knew nothing about until the skilled facility took photos of it and sent it to the hospital. He was denied any meds that could save his life .
They did not listen to our request of no ventilation and made the call against our wishes.

My sweet husband is a kind hearted , loving man. He always wanted you to know he loves you and sees you. He is a man’s man. I used to say he was my James Bond. He was good at everything and an amazing piano player. He was captain at united airlines for over 30 years. He was a special man that made everyone feel so loved and wanted. Between us we have 7 kids and 11 grandkids .
His life meant so much to many. We all miss him terribly. Thank you for listening to our story.
