Linda Strahm with COVID at home. Linda Took legal POA/ WILL to hospital 1-12-2022. Gave to nurse Ryan Zeller. Ignored. Asked for Ivermectine/ HCQ/ ignored. Tricked Grandaughter nurse at same hospital/ made POA by hospital 1-11-2022 allowing ventilator, but given no medical information. 1-11-2022 daughter made POA by hospital but not told. Hospital provided two witnesses to sign new POA. Given Ambien, Ativan, Geodon which made patient crazy. Hospital psychiatrist told hospital to stop these drugs that caused crazy because harming Mr. Strahm. Used ventilator as punishment for going crazy.

Pallative Care did not contact Terry’s wife which was listed as Emergency Contact on Terry’s hospital admittance forms. Linda Strahm Energency contact home sick with Covid. Pallative Care person caused abuse to grandaughter and grandfather. Really harmed family by doing this!!!!

I Guess I Have No Choice But The Hospital

My spouse and I both had colds 1-4-2022. 1-10-2022 Terry Strahm had daughter take him to emergency care with breathing issues. Terry, Linda, daughter decided “No hospital.” Linda/wife stayed home sick. Emergency care told Terry hospital needed for low oxygen. Terry made decision to go to hospital.  St Rita’s Hospital, Lima, Ohio admitted Terry 1-11-2022 but no bed available on 1-10-2022.

On 1-11-2022 6:17 PM RN Belinda C Fitch , Palliative Care, spoke with Terry Strahm at bedside as his stats were 88% but he was not in distress on high flow at 100%. Told Terry his next step was BiPAP, then intubation. Fitch states, “ Granddaughter (23 year old) came in to room. ”Granddaughter asked by RN Belinda C Fitch, Pallative Care, “Encouraged Terry to talk to granddaughter regarding long term goals, as granddaughter is a RN nurse. Terry told granddaughter that he would not want a Tracy, a feeding tube, or live in ECF. Granddaughter asked him if he is ok with intubation, if needed. Terry stated, ‘yes for a little while, but I don’t want to just lay there…”

I reintegrated to Terry that if it comes to him needing a teach because he was vent dependent, it would mean he would die. Terry stated, “ I know. I’m ready. “ Granddaughter voiced understanding. No further questions were asked as they both voiced understanding of code status. Palliative Care will continue to follow pt.”

Linda very sick took Terry’s legal POA to hospital. Ryan Zeller RN took those papers from Linda and told her Hospital POA would be deleted from computer. Terry told Palliative Care RN Matt Luginbuhl, 1-12-2022 he did not sign POA but papers so wife Linda could get medical information. He also stated he never wanted hospital witness person in his room again. RN Matt said POA did not matter!!!

Terry Strahm given Ambien, Ativan and more. Tied down to bed because of crazy reaction. Medical staff forcefully held on high flow oxygen Terry trying to remove. Hospital psychiatrist stopped these medications as cause Terry to go crazy. Vented shortly after this episode of crazy on 1-17-2022. Drugs still in Terry’s system. Given strongest dose of paralytic drugs as soon as vented.

Baricitinib given immediately and then dosage doubled. Black box warning not to be given to someone with infection. Infection when entered hospital in lungs and increased infections listed: blood urinary tract when death occurring.
