Was asked multiple times you should have been vacinated it would be different if you were. When a doctor finally got on the phone with me first question asked as if they didn't already know is "Is he vaccinated?" as soon as I told him No he responded "Oh no thats a problem". I was able to see my husband after he went into cartiac arrest because at this point it was end of life. All the doctors asked me if he was vaccinated and again when I said No and everyone said Oh no that is not good. I am not sure if he was treated differently by nurse but for sure his treatment was different.
My husband asked multiple times for Ivermectin and told that is not a medication used in hospitals. This was not their protocol. He was isolated for well over the 5-10 day mark. No communciation was told to not speak only text if he did facetime it would have to be for short time and no talking only to see his families faces for "support". A nurse told me my family and I were aggrevating him and causing him more stress this was the Wedneday morning they decided to keep pushing to intubate him. My family and I were texting him tell him to keep pushing and to not intubate. The doctors never came in until the last couple days before they intubated him to keep pushing for him to sign the forms. He wanted to know why his kidney's were failing, he had blood clots that were only address 1 time and never again. Which would ultimately kill him after being intubated. He would ask questions and they would never have answers for him. He would want to sit up and get up to use the restroom but they didn't want him to. At one point they had him pooping on his side as the nurse held a bed pan. This was a horrible humilating experience for my husband. His anxiety was so bad they kept wanting to medicate him but a PA there Adam insisted he not be to medicated because then his brain would forget to breath. He was never given any risk factors for intubation and having blood clots.

My 42 year old healthy husband went into the hospital 10 days out from Covid because his saturation levels at home were in the mid to high 60’s. He was admitted and sent to isolation. Randy immediately was given Remdesivir without being told what he was being given and the side effects of this protocol. He was told he had Covid Glass Pneumonia. They said his X-Rays looked horrific. Within the first day they told him he was going to have a long road ahead of him with probable lung damage. This was only after being there for less than 24 hours he was getting this diagnosis.
His first nurse was horrible to him. My husband was being pushy about his care and they didn’t like that. She came into his room as little as possible. Every day his oxygen levels got increased and by day 3 he was sent to ICU because he need a high flow machine that they didn’t have on the regular floors. Again back insolation.
I still couldn’t come see him after multiple times asking. He was not super scared and wanted to come home. Which they told him he would most likely be there through Christmas. On day 3 his anxiety was through the roof and his blood pressure was high. They gave him an anti anxiety med that helped for the night. He just kept telling me he wanted to come home and was scared that he couldn’t breathe. We rarely talked on the phone because they told him to keep his talking to a minimum it would help him. He was doing everything they said. And he had been laying on his stomach for days now barely getting up to eat. He wasn’t eating much. I was able to bring him a couple meals but it just depended on the nurse.
By the 5th day he checked for blood clots and treated for them and it never got brought up again. The second week was a huge blur our communication was getting shorted and our texting was getting further apart. He was sleeping a lot so I am not sure if they gave him stuff to help him sleep. He was on the max amount of oxygen and being pressure to intubate. I begged him not his friends and our family begged him not to but the doctors kept persisting and telling this will be his best option to survive this.
My husband wanted to come home so he complied with the doctors. He was intubated for less than 2 hours before he threw a clot and went into cardiac arrest. They were able restart his heart but I was told it was only a matter of time before this will happen again. His heart rate was high well over 120 this was at 8pm December 2, 2021.
I woke up on December 3, 2021 and I knew I needed to see my husband. On that day, I was able to get him moved to a “clean room” so I could see him since they considered him to be end of life. At that time, I was told my time would be short. While I was in there with my husband an x-ray team came in to take an x-ray of is abdomen. Totally unnecessary since this was my only time with him and he didn’t have a stomach issue. Just something to bill on I guess. While multiple nurse started to gather his room and look at me as though he wasn’t going to make to the next hour. I decided to walk out of the ICU area to catch my breath.
I took a breath and called my mom the second she said “Hello” they called code blue to his room. So, I ran back in there to see at least 15 nurses and doctors in there doing chest compressions they were never able to bring my 42 year old healthy husband back to life. He left behind 3 daughters all 15 years, 12 years, 7 years old. I am sure there is more I could say but I feel like some things come back to me at times and then some I block out.
