Experience in hospital:
When I called the ambulance, they told me not to go to the hospital since nobody, even the family wasn't allowed in and a doctor would call me in a few hours regarding Paul's status. I didn't hear from anyone for 3 days! After many useless calls a resident doctor connected with me and said "I'm sorry, but your husband got lost in the shuffle" Days later he was put on a ventilator and I never got to speak to him. I'm an Ordained Priest in an Anglican Tradition and when I asked to give him "The Last Rights" again they refused me and said" Mike from St. Mary's Church" a male would do it since they believed I just wanted to see him! They called me a few days later and told me they were taking Paul off the heart machine and I should come get his body.
Paul told Lynette, "if you call the ambulance, I am not coming home!'
Betrayal of Paul G. Corsten by the hospital
Paul Corsten, 72, was taken by ambulance to Froedtert Medical in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin on December 7, 2020. Paul tested negative for Covid days prior. Lynette, his wife, followed the ambulance to the hospital, greeted by a police officer at the door and denied entry.
Lynette did not hear from the hospital until day 3 where she was told “your husband got lost in the shuffle and we are very busy”. Paul told Lynette that he didn’t want to go on the ventilator, but was intubated 8 days later.
Lack of communication, isolation, negativity and cruel treatment were exhibited. She was told that her husband was going to die and that she needed to come in to remove him from life support. Lynette was finally allowed to say her goodbyes in person. Paul lost his life on December 22, 2022. Cause of death was Covid pneumonia and organ failure. Lynette is still unsure if this is true.
