Isolated, while nurses tried to be kind they offered little information. Asking for an Adovcate was complicated - seemed like the hospital was not clear on their processes. Asking too many questions only aggravated the Doctors. Avoiding family, making statements about the family or patient not having taken the Vax, implying the patient was ignorant and foolish for not getting the vax. Several Dr. Instilled guilt

My Husband and I were both diagnosed with Covid 19 on 9/3/21. On 9/8/21 my husband became concerned that his oxygen levels were low 90’s whereas mine remained at 97-98. Over the course of the evening and after calling urgent care he took the decision to drive to the hospital for likely oxygen therapy. He was tired and did have a tick of a cough. But was not struggling to breath and actually insisted he was fine to drive himself. After a few days in the hospital (without a bed for the first day) he did receive oxygen and eventually was moved to ICU noting he had covid pneumonia. Remdesiver was administered and with 7 days he exhibited strain on major organs. In particular his Kidneys – of which were never a health concern in the past. As his wife I had limited contact with him, struggled to get updates from nurses or doctors, he even complained he could not charge his phone. Was a hard challenge to bring him a charging cord! Any information I would receive was vague and resulted only out of my annoying persistence, bribing nurses with Coffee, Cider/Donuts, Tim Horton Gift Cards and simply kissing ass!
On the morning Larry was placed on the vent (9/19/2021), I had spoken with the morning nurse and was told that Larry had a good night, stayed in the low 90’s… I had call with Larry and even discussed paying our bills and soon he would be home, only for an hour later to receive a text from Larry saying, “I think they are putting me on the vent, call the Dr. & I Love you” this was my last conversation with Larry exactly 2 years ago today. I immediately called from the car and drove there as fast as I could… got there in 15 minutes… he was being vented upon my arrival. I was refused to see him. The Dr. doing the procedure spoke to me in the waiting room and finally allowed me to go and and see him as he was in a sedated state. I was not given any detail other than he needed to rest and to go home and call later. I never left the hospital. The next 10 days were hell with each day many mixed messages, confusion from the Drs, & Staff. Asked for an Advocate which never came! Begged for 1:1 meetings with the Dr. only to meet with a Dr. which I believe was someone well versed in dealing with emotional family members and not truly in direct contact with my husband.
I am concerned that the remdesivir was in excess of 5 doses and may have been from the Lot that was contaminated with glass. I am concerned with comments made to me by 2 nurses about how if I did not have PPO he would have been sent home… was my great benefits a reason to hold my husband hostage as the $3ook+ hospital bill was covered and a money maker for this FDA hospital? I begged for other therapeutics and vitamins of which were ignored or frankly laughed at. A few of the Drs we quick to remind me and my family that we clearly don’t know what we are asking for…
My Husband was a very resilient person and he instilled his work ethic, beliefs and goodwill on us all. He would go with the flow but yet encouraged us all to stand by our convictions! He was a Lamb and was slaughtered. If he taught me anything was to be true to myself and my Beliefs… I am ready to share his story in hopes that Remdesivir exposed – this includes Big Pharma! I’d love nothing more that to expose how Remdesivir which was hard to get at the time yet quickly available after the change in the White House the money maker it is today as a FDA approved protocol covid (fabricated China virus) one size fits all treatment.
