Given no water when requested, and was told over and over if you were vaccinated you wouldn’t be in here; refused all basic needs
My husband called me to tell me he couldn’t get anybody to come into his room when needed, went without water and was criticized for not getting vaccinated.
My husband called me right after they made me leave the hospital shortly after arriving at the ER, stating they wanted his approval to put him on a ventilator, if needed. He was very upset that they would ask him that when he was not admitted at that time. We discussed this often in the past and decided “no,” we never wanted either of us to be put on a ventilator. He wanted to go home, but they ignored his wishes.

Watch & Share The Interview
In a heart-wrenching interview for the COVID Humanity Betrayal Memory Project (CHBMP), conducted by Diane Martin of the FormerFedsGroup Foundation, Cathy Turkall shares the agonizing story of her husband Kevin’s experience in an American hospital amid COVID-19. Her narration, a testament to resilience amidst despair, delves deep into the horrors they faced due to controversial EUA protocols, including the use of remdesivir, that she believes led to Kevin’s untimely demise.
Cathy recounts how Kevin, initially diagnosed with COVID-19, was admitted to the hospital with low oxygen levels. Despite his discomfort, he was coherent and not visibly struggling to breathe. However, the hospital protocols quickly escalated. Cathy, isolated from Kevin due to COVID restrictions, was plunged into a world of uncertainty and fear, unable to be by her husband’s side. This separation was the first of many harrowing experiences that Cathy narrates with palpable sorrow.
As Kevin’s condition worsened, he was started on remdesivir. Cathy, unfamiliar with the medication, could only watch helplessly as her husband’s health deteriorated. She recalls Kevin developing a blood clot and his breathing becoming increasingly labored. The hospital staff, according to Cathy, seemed distant and unresponsive to Kevin’s needs, exacerbating his suffering. His calls for water and assistance often went unheeded, leaving him in distress.
The situation turned dire when Kevin was intubated. Cathy’s description of her last moments with Kevin is heart-rending. She speaks of her denial, her hopes, and the crushing reality that dawned on her as she witnessed the physical changes in her husband. She recalls the confusion, the overwhelming sense of helplessness, and the stark realization that the medical interventions, instead of alleviating Kevin’s condition, were possibly exacerbating it. Cathy questions the medical decisions, particularly the continuous administration of fluids despite Kevin’s failing kidneys.
Cathy’s narrative is a poignant reflection on the personal impact of the pandemic. She speaks of her struggles with grief and the financial hardships that followed Kevin’s death. Her story is one of a tragic loss, not just of a husband but also of faith in a system she believed would protect them. She emphasizes the importance of being one’s own advocate in healthcare, a lesson learned in the hardest way possible.
The COVID Humanity Betrayal Memory Project (CHBMP) has documented over 1,300 such narratives, vividly portraying the catastrophic impact of COVID-related protocols on individuals and families. Over 1,000 stories have been published, with new accounts being added at a pace that challenges the resources of the organization. These stories are more than just numbers; they are a stark reminder of the egregious crimes against humanity that have occurred under the guise of medical care.
If you or a loved one has been adversely affected by COVID-related protocols or policies, CHBMP urges you to share your experience at CHBMP.org. Your story is not just a personal account; it is a vital piece in the larger narrative of seeking justice and change. The task force, mainly comprising victims like Cathy, who have endured similar suffering, is dedicated to shedding light on these injustices and advocating for those who have been wronged. This fight is not just about accountability; it is about ensuring that such tragedies are never repeated. Join this crucial effort to honor the memories of those lost and to protect the future of others.
These are just a few of the cases archived by our COVID-19 Humanity Betrayal Memory Project, and there are more being reported by survivors and families of victims every day. If you would like to help with this project, please contact us at email@chbmp.org.
