Medical Treatment & Hospitalization
Jan17/22 eve Mom proved stable. She refused Remdesivir. Drs refused to give her ivermectin; Dr called in palliative care. She was isolated, denied anything by mouth and put on BPAP at too high a setting she couldn’t handle. Palliative told her she was dying and if they removed the BPAP she’d die. I was called to come in; Mom was doped up; unable to speak or understand me. I fired palliative RN.

Morning of Jan 17/22, Mom had symptoms similar to her 2006 stroke, with confusion and one sided weakness.
Once she got a bed in ER at Yuma Regional Medical Centre, it was found she had low O2Sats and put on hospital oxygen. I gave a list of her meds and our address in Canada, as we are travelling.
Chest X-ray, (I seriously question if this was actually her X-ray and her name was added) said bacterial pneumonia, yet she barely had a cough. I was not sick and we are in close quarters all the time.
I took photos and videos of Mom and the monitors through her ordeal, just in case.
They started her on steroids and antibiotics. Mom’s O2 sats had risen to 100%.
However when the ER doctor arrived, against Mom’s wishes he got a PCR test and now she suddenly had covid; we saw no proof that she was positive. He said it was not a stroke at all.
He insisted on Remdesivir but Mom refused and asked for Ivermectin to which he refused; he stated it wasn’t FDA approved for covid treatment.
Momma was stable when the RN told me to leave at 10pm, as they had a room on a Unit to continue the oxygen, but the look of terror on Mom’s beautiful face, asking me not to leave, will haunt me forever!
The next day they wouldn’t let me see her. I spoke with her on the room phone after she’d had breakfast and she said she was going to be discharged the next day, Jan 19.
Jan 19, I was called and they said I could see her for one allotted hour. When I got there they told me she was dying and I’d better stay a bit longer!
I was shocked that this could happen after leaving her the first night and yesterday she told me she was about to be discharged on Jan 19.
Mom was now hooked up to a BPAP machine at 100% making her breathe extremely hard and they had her doped up through her IV.
She couldn’t understand anything, nor speak. Nothing by mouth due to aspiration risk. The several Drs and RNs standing around Mom would only tell me her decline was due to covid. I insisted she be allowed to leave with an oxygen prescription but they said she would die before she got to the front door. I asked for her to be transferred to a hospital that would give her Ivermectin and her regular Hydroxychloroquine, and Hydroxyurea (necessary med to keep her rare blood disorder in check), but we were refused.
Palliative RN was condescending and said Momma was dying and to call the family. The medical report which I obtained immediately, has several lies, including that we both agreed to “comfort care” which means getting ready to die. I said Mom has at least 20 years left to live because she’s healthy. Unfortunately, the palliative nurse called again on the morning of Jan 20, and said Mom had another bad turn and was put in ICU; they were about to intubate and put her on a ventilator and would do it with or without me there. She also said that those two procedures would likely kill Mom, but that when she asked Mom if she wanted to end her life, Mom nodded.
I was angry, and told the RN to stay away from Mom. Momma was so doped up, how did the RN get an answer from her?
I coincidently met the lady pastor as I was sitting in the parking lot and I’m afraid they fed her a line, because she was very adamant that I should help end Mom’s suffering because all Mom’s organs were failing. I was so stunned and grieving already and asked my family to meet me on Skype by Mom’s bed in ICU. I spoke to the critical care doctor and he said yes Mom was not going to make it through the night.
I went to Mom and she was very agitated and the nurse who liked Mom said there was nothing more they could do for Mom and she didn’t have long, but we should make her comfortable. Startlingly, devoid ofemotion, he went to Mom’s IV and administered morphine and Lorazepam; in a lethal dose. Several moments later, he removed Momma’s BPAP, and Mom’s death was a horrific nightmare and so egregious that I vow I will never stop looking for Justice for my Momma.
