My father was treated horrible in the hospital, no family should ever have to go through what we did, its very unfortunate. The nurses ignored him completely as well as ignored his requests and needs, they deprived him of food and water, he was isolated and not allowed any visitors. I requested multiple times for the doctor to do an additional COVID test so we could get him moved out of the COVID wing, when they finally gave him the test and he tested negative, they refused to move him. They left him on a Bipap machine for 3-4 weeks.

My Father Dino was an amazing man that was extremely strong and fought this battle with his all He was a loving father, grandfather and husband. My Father started feeling sick on November 28th, within two days he took an at home COVID test and tested positive. On December 2nd I was able to make an appointment with Desert Valley Hospital so he could get the Antibody Infusion Monoclonal, when he arrived at the hospital his oxygen was at 60%, with that being said they denied giving him the antibodies.

He was then admitted to the hospital, they first put him on high flow oxygen, the hospital stated that was not enough oxygen for him and they needed to move him into the COVID wing and be placed on a Bipap Machine (the machine is only recommended to be used no more than four consecutive days). They pushed Remdesivir, stating there are no side effects, after 3 days of taking Remdesivir it seemed he was declining, he no longer wanted to take the drug.

Hospital staff and Drs. said he needed to be on the Bipap machine and they kept him on it until the day he died, 3+ weeks. While being in the COVID wing and on the Bipap machine he was deprived food, water and oral hygiene he was completely ignored from the first day he stepped foot in that hospital, his mouth was so dry and dying inside due to the machine pushing in so much forced air, I called multiple times and requested them to give him water and possibly use glycerin swabs to moisten his mouth and of course they refused saying, “its against protocol”. We also requested to still provide him with the antibody infusion and again refused saying “its against protocol”.

The hospital refused to let him have any visitors. We requested to move hospitals and again, “against protocol”. I truly believe Remdesivir cause his body to shut down. We were able to see him Christmas day, we could not believe how horrible he looked , how much weight was lost and how weak he was. January 1st we received a call from the doctor saying she would allow his family to come visit him, the day before he died. It is a shame this is our health care system, completely outrageous these doctors are killing people with Remdesivir and telling families the drug has no side affects. How can our medical industry be trusted.
