A Survivor’s Testimony: Floyd Hansbury’s Story of Hospital Betrayal

In June of 2021, Floyd Hansbury was fighting for his life—and he didn’t even know it. Stricken with high fever and unable to stay conscious, his wife Denise made the desperate call for an ambulance that would begin their nightmare. They thought they were doing the right thing. They thought the hospital would help.

Instead, Floyd was taken to Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida, where he became a prisoner of the now-infamous COVID protocols. From the moment he arrived, Denise was told that he would not even be admitted unless he took a COVID test. Floyd, barely coherent with a temperature over 103, had no real choice. “I didn’t want it,” Denise said, “but they said they wouldn’t admit him otherwise.” She didn’t know better at the time. She would soon learn.

Inside the hospital, Floyd was isolated, treated with the deadly drug remdesivir—administered daily without his consent, without explanation, without a single signed form. He said he’d never heard of it. “They gave me three IVs every morning and that’s the way I stayed until the day I left,” Floyd recalled. He was confined to a freezing cold room with a single thin blanket, left to manage bodily needs on his own with only a robe and a pan. “The bathroom was just six feet away,” he said, “but they never let me go.” No dignity. No compassion.

For five days, Denise tried to reach someone—anyone—inside the hospital for updates. “I didn’t hear from a doctor until he was discharged,” she said. “And the nurse just kept saying the doctor would call. But he never did.” When she finally got that call, the words were chilling: “He was the healthiest COVID patient I’ve ever had.” Denise would later realize the truth behind that eerie statement: they hadn’t been able to kill him. Despite the protocols, despite the remdesivir, Floyd survived.

But not without lasting damage. Floyd still suffers from dizziness, loss of taste and smell, and breathing issues. He’s afraid to ever go back to a hospital again. “Unless it’s a broken leg, I don’t want to step foot in one,” he said. And who could blame him?

Throughout his hospitalization, no one asked for permission to administer any treatment. No one told Floyd or Denise what was being done. When Denise tried to visit, she was denied entry—only allowed to wave from the doorway one time. “I couldn’t advocate for him,” she said, through tears. “I couldn’t ask questions. I couldn’t be his voice.” Floyd described the experience as “inhumane and degrading,” from the lack of care to the humiliation of being forced to handle basic bodily needs while tethered to IVs in a freezing room.

And still, they consider themselves lucky—because Floyd survived. Unlike so many others.

Floyd and Denise now know what they didn’t know back then: that remdesivir is a dangerous, toxic drug pushed on patients under emergency-use protocols, often without informed consent. That hospitals were incentivized with government payouts for following these deadly procedures. That countless Americans walked into hospitals with hope—and left in body bags.

Stories just like Floyd’s are pouring in faster than our team can document them. These are crimes against humanity, and they must be stopped. The protocols are still in place. People are still dying.
