COVID-19 Humanity Betrayal ㅤ Memory Project

Donna Bustria was a wife and a mother of four living in Southern California. She was only 48 years old and already beaten breast cancer and other health issues. When she went to the hospital due to having trouble breathing, her and husband just thought she had the same virus she had in 2020, which she recovered fully from with an antibiotic and anti-viral medication. This time however, they told Freddie she had Covid, even though their tests were negative a couple of days prior. Donna was a nurse at this same hospital but at a different location. She was a good and caring nurse, but she had gotten one of only three vaccine exemptions for religious reasons, they did not like her for that. She chose to go to another location for that reason. When she informed them, she was unvaccinated, she was treated poorly until they found out she was an employee of that hospital system. They immediately started her on remdesivir, a drug that her and her husband had both discussed she would not take. Donna was a cancer survivor as of March 23^rd she had a completely clear scan and was in remission, she was cancer free.

However, when the pandemic hit, she decided to take the chemo medications for a bit just as a precaution. The doctors failed to ask her about her previous health history or what medications she was on so when the pharmacist found out that they had given her remdesivir and barcitinib, he made it obvious to Freddie that they had made a big mistake. When Donna found out they had given her remdesivir from her husband she started to cry, she already knew the dangers of it and most likely from being a nurse, knew she should have not taken it with the other drugs she was already on. Freddie told the doctors that she had a virus with the same symptoms back in 2020 and what they had treated her with, in which she made a full recovery.

They denied Donna those medications and said she had to have the Covid protocol instead. From the first week of Donna being in there they were pushing the ventilator. Both Donna and Freddie told the doctors “No ventilator” for five days straight. Then one day they called Freddie and said Donna wanted to be incubated and it was her choice, Freddie does not believe this to be true. He was finally allowed to visit and every time he would go sit with Donna and hold her hand, her oxygen saturation would go into the high 90’s. The doctor had previously told him if she got her sats up to 92 % that they would take her off the vent. When she did, they told Freddie they were not going to take her off. They kept telling Freddie at night to rush up there that she was going to die but every time he got there and held her hand, her numbers would go back up and she would live.

The doctors would turn around and leave her room actually looking disappointed.  This happened three times between 1/14/2022 and 01/27/2022. Ironically, they last time, they did not call Freddie intime before she passed. Even one nurse asked Freddie, what would it take for you to just let her go? This confused him, why did they want her to die so bad? The other case nurses kept telling him she was getting better and was going to come home and for him to get her room and bathroom ready, but then the doctor would come in behind them and say that is not true.

Donna passed on 1/27/2022 from what Freddie believes was hospital negligence, mistakes, and covid protocols. He could tell they had it out for her for being an unvaccinated conservative. They even refused to do the autopsy that he requested, stating that he did not need one since it was not a homicide, a weird thing to say in my opinion.

Donna had beaten cancer and a nasty virus a couple of years ago, but was not match for the deadly covid drugs, unsuccessful hospital protocols, ventilator and a hospital staff that had no intention of trying to get her recovered.
