She was fine at first. I was face timing her from her own phone. When I last spoke to her I finally asked her when are you coming home …..:she did not look like she needed to be there. She said hopefully soon. That they just lowered her nasal oxygen to it’s lowest setting and it’s reading 95%. Which is great so she said hopefully in a couple days. When she said “a couple” I imagined 2 days. But I was very wrong.

We never were notified that she had a code blue and transferred to ICU. When we found out they told her fiancé she was in a coma and DIDN’T know why. 🚩 THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING (more is in the interview).  It’s a lot of misdiagnosed issues. She had a rare condition, that they caused and needed neuro rehab. Instead they lied on her records and sent her to a nursing home. It was far away from family when there were closers ones!

She made it out of the ICU. They misdiagnosed her. Never giving her a chance. Drugging her the whole time and we never knew. I want to bring awareness to PSEUDOCOMA to help the patients in the condition. I can explain how it’s caused too and it’s caused by the COVID-19 Hospital Protocol.

My aunt was healthy. I knew in my heart things weren’t right. They all went wrong in a blink of an eye. And we weren’t notified by the doctor even though we called that day. Code blue was never mentioned to us. They told my aunt’s fiancé that she was in a coma and they didn’t know why. I was a pharmacy tech not in the hospital but I know my meds and worked in a substance abuse clinic for a couple years as well.

I couldn’t understand how they didn’t know why she was in a coma. She was as in the hospital and in their doctors full care! They told me all brain scans were good. And they didn’t under stand why she wasn’t waking. I was told the neurologist were going to come back. Hours later they called to say she was not going to make it. They found out she had a very bad stroke with no hope to recover from that brain injury. I was not allowed in since I wasn’t immediate family.

They told our family, who did go in, horrible things. Pressuring them to sign a DNR. Which all said no to. We didn’t understand to how it got to this point and wanted to give her a chance. They refused to give us her medical records while she was alive. I asked was she being medicated to make her sleep. Given anything that could cause drowsiness. They lied to me over the phone while she was in the ICU! They put her on a vent when she didn’t need it and gave her a trachea a day and a half later!

Giving her morphine the whole time. Even though she had a documented allergy to morphine. The whole time they said they weren’t but they were. She woke and had a misdiagnosed condition that they caused going on. In almost everyone who makes it out of ICU that are passing. It’s called PSEUDOCOMA locked in syndrome. I did research and found the survivors that’s what gave me hope to keep working with her.

They tried to take her multiple times. The last time they finally succeeded. This is a long story and I was there almost daily once she was allowed visitors. I seen other people who should of made it too in those rooms. That I became friends with and tried to help.

She was admitted on 3/30/21 and passed 7/12/21. Something we never seen coming because she was recovering from one of the worst but possible to recover conditions only a neurologist should know about. I want to raise awareness on this condition to save people too.
