My wife and I received a call from our daughter At approximately 8:15 PM on September 22, 2021, saying something was wrong with her. Her mother and I raced over to her condominium and found her on the floor stating she couldn’t see and she felt nauseous. We called 911 and the paramedics came and transported her to the hospital as we followed.

When arriving at the hospital my wife was with her in the emergency room and I was attempting to get through security. My wife called and said get back here they just coded Jenny. As I ran through the hospital to the ER room, my wife met me in a panicked situation. I could see them doing compressions on my daughter in the background. Although they brought her back, because of lack of oxygen, her brain died. After many tests and doctor consultations, it was determined that my daughter was brain-dead.

On September 23 with her family beside her side, we had to make the unthinkable decision to remove her from the machines that were keeping her alive. Jennifer was a beautiful person both on the inside and outside. She was a 6-grade teacher in Brea, California, and dear to her family, coworkers, and kids at her school. She always looked out for the best interest of others and was daddy’s little girl. I never felt that this experimental drug was necessary and did not like the fact that it was pushed on so many. I am not vaccinated. I understand my daughter’s desire to protect others which fits right into her personality. Her family is devastated but we are learning to maneuver through this extremely difficult time. We have faith in God and will continue to look to him.
